    I found this book to have great recipes and were low fat and delicious. Great if you are vegan/vegetarian or just wanting to eat more healthy fare.

    It’s hard to review a cookbook because it takes some time to make enough of the recipes to give it an accurate review.

    We’ve made a few of the recipes thus far and each one has been a hit with my husband and three little girls-not easy to do!

    The recipes are good and so far easy enough for me to make (and my husband who is laid off), though there are more involved recipes if you choose. I especially love this book because of it’s a whole foods, low fat, no “fake-y” ingredients style. They have great recipes for things like vegan mayo. The store version makes me gagg…but the recipe they have is great!

    Thus far the best vegan cookbook I have found!

    This book has recipes that taste wonderful and are heathly. I haven’t found a bad recipe yet. I esp like that it doesnt use oils.

    This cookbook will give you many good recipes. This is the best vegan cookbook I have had. There was only one recipe that was not good–the raspberry dressing. everything else was very good and many were delicious. Be aware though that this is not only a vegan book, but one that does not use any unhealthy spices or ingredients–no pepper, no mustard, no ketchup, etc, etc. So, if you like spicy food, you will not find it here!!! These recipes are for those who want to appreciate the natural tastes. Also, you will have to get a few special ingredients–like agar pwd. Your food will turn out looking exactly like all the pictures in the book–mine did!

    I am shocked at the price here on Amazon as it is only $24.99 printed on the back. I got this from one of Neva’s family members and I am very impressed with it. I am a raw vegan. In the colder months I wanted to start cooking some dishes a few nights a week that my whole family would enjoy and everyone loves what I have made. The mock cheese sauce is really good and my son just licks his hands clean! He is always asking for it and he is only 5! He loves the mac and cheese and the tortillas. I just love that it is whole foods and doesn’t use oils and other processed items like other vegan cookbooks. When we decided to leave all that behind we see that most vege and vegan cookbooks are full of chemical laden ingredients and we refuse to eat it…like margarine.

    You won’t be disappointed in this cookbook!
